Virginia's Governor Ralph Northam has proclaimed April 2020 is School Library Month.  The proclamation is available via https://www.governor.virginia.gov/newsroom/proclamations/proclamation/school-library-month.html.  

April is School Library Month.  It's time to celebrate the role school libraries and school librarians have in today's educational setting.  Thank you for all you do for your students, staff, and community.  

April 30 is the new deadline for the VAASL Scholarship and Awards that was originally March 31.  The list of awards are on the website via https://www.vaasl.org/awards.
