Philanthropy Project

The 2019 Philanthropy project will allow attendees at VAASL three ways to give back to the greater Roanoke Valley community! We hope everyone will take time to give to one if not all three philanthropy drives.

#1 Books for Babies--Roanoke Valley Reading Council

VAASL will be partnering with the Roanoke Valley Reading Council to gather books for their Books for Babies community outreach project. Books for Babies delivers a new board book to families with babies born into the NICU allowing new parents special bonding time with their newborn. Adult activity books can also be donated for parents spending time in the NICU with their children. New board books are preferred. Click here for more information about Books for Babies.
