Annual Conference Concurrent Sessions

Session Proposals

Deadline: July 1, 2019

The Concurrent Sessions are the heartbeat of the conference and we need your experience and enthusiasm to make the fall conference possible.  We all have stories, expertise, and ideas that we can share with one another. If you presented at a Spring Regional, please consider presenting at the Fall Conference!!!  These sessions are traditionally 1 hour long and can be presented in a variety of different formats. Presenters receive a $50 registration discount, for up to two presenters who are mentioned on the original conference proposal.

Once again, we will be offering an Idea Lab which is an interactive poster session (although trifolds are not required).  Please consider showcasing
your work during this time (you do not have to present a session as well). If you have attended VAASL in 2018 or AASL in the past few years you may have participated in this format.  This is your chance to share what you are proud of in your library program. This explore at your own pace
experience is designed to give your colleagues a sample of your work and ask questions. These are not formal presentations but more of a hands-on experience. We are particularly looking to have a coding/robotics section of the Idea Lab in 2019! In the proposal form, you will see it called a
Robotics Corral”. Idea Lab presenters receive a $25 registration discount, for one presenter.
