I read a lot of fantastic titles last year; however, two books that really hit me in the feels are "The Remarkable Journey of Coyote Sunrise" and "The Black Flamingo". Both stories were fantastic and after I finished them I felt like I needed to sit and think about the story I just read. I needed to take a moment to process what I was feeling after finishing them. Highly recommend both!

2020 was a great year for books! My top adult novel is THE INVISIBLE LIFE OF ADDIE LA RUE. Loved the character's perseverance and determination to make a mark. I have two middle school books that top my list of favorite childrens' books. MAYBE HE JUST LIKES YOU and GENESIS BEGINS AGAIN....Girl Power!!!
Finally, I see Jenni recommended THE REMARKABLE JOURNEY OF COYOTE SUNRISE. I was so disappointed it did not receive a Newbery last year. It is an amazing story.

Patty, those books are on my "To Read" list, which gets longer and longer every couple of days. Can't wait to delve into them.
